Hygienist

Rebecca Woledge, a 2008 graduate of Auckland University of Technology’s Bachelor of Health Science- Oral Health degree.
As a graduate of this degree Rebecca is able to practise all scopes of dental therapy and dental hygiene practice. Rebecca is able to independently prescribe and administer oral health care to patients up to 18 years old, and provide periodontal care for adult patients, in consultation with a dentist.

During Rebecca’s study at AUT her learning included pre-clinical experiences in a laboratory setting, and clinical experience in an on-campus clinic, and in community dental clinics and private practices, along with a placement in the New Zealand Defence dental in Wellington.

Over the past few years Rebecca has practiced privately in Parnell, before coming to Gentle dentists in 2009.
Currently Rebecca is working three days a week managing the hygiene program for the practice.  Rebecca’s passion for her field and working with patients drives her to achieve a high standard of care with an eye for detail, and a focus to achieve excellence for every one of her patients, with the objective that they can achieve their oral health aspirations.

 Outside of work Rebecca is married with a baby girl born December 2010, enjoys doing all the mum things and has a passion for food, photography, and giving time to others.
