Dr Betty Matthews graduated with a Bachelor of
Dental Surgery degree in 1998. After working for
a few years in sunny Nelson, she then made her
move up to Auckland in 2005.

Since joining Gentle Dentists, Betty has developed an excellent rapport with her patients and has become an integral part of the team. She offers late night appointments on Thursdays for the convenience of some of her patients.

Betty enjoys the variety of general dentistry and always endeavors to achieve the highest quality in her work. She strongly believes in continuing education to keep updated with the latest technology and research and regularly attends courses to this effect. She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, Auckland Dental Association and New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentists.

Betty’s interests outside of work include reading, painting, squash and badminton.
