Surgical & Implant Dentist

Dr Pawan Kalra completed his Oral Surgery qualification in Bangalore, India in 1993. He and his family moved to New Zealand in 1995 and after successfully completing the New Zealand Dental Council registration exams, has been practising comprehensive dentistry since 1996.

He has developed a passion for Dental Implant treatments, while still maintaining an interest in surgical & general dentistry. Since 1998 he has been involved in both surgical & prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry. Due to his vast experience in placing implants, he has now been granted accreditation by ACC, which enables him to perform surgical placements for ACC cases. Dr Kalra has also been accepted for Fellowship with ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantology).

Dr Kalra's wide range of skills include impacted wisdom teeth removal, basic management of Temperomandibular Joint problems, intravenous sedation and other aspects of surgical dentistry.
